Amapiano has taken Ghana by storm, moving everyone from their seats and onto the dance floor. The country has embraced it and is loving it!
Over the festive seasons Amapiano scene took over the clubs, lounges and playlists in Ghana.
With the Amapiano festival hosted by Garage Lounge in Accra, the music gained a massive looking and love amongst listeners and ravers. The festival was host to some of the biggest Amapiano acts from South Africa, including the likes of Focalistic, Kamo Mphela, DBN Gogo, Mr JazziQ and Uncle Waffles and more.
According to organisers, the festival was the best festival of the year due to its inclusion of some experienced and dedicated members and the wave of the new sound they are bringing to Ghana.
An ambassador for the festival, MR Davis Mensah stated that “Amapiano is growing and the first festival in Ghana dedicated to this genre is bringing a dance party of a lifetime with the Amapiano festivals.”
